Gateway Supply Company: History
Originally founded in April of 1964 in Columbia, South Carolina, Gateway Supply Company started as a stocking distributor for plumbing and HVAC products and accessories. Since 1964, Gateway has become one of South Carolina's largest privately owned supply houses.
From its original location in downtown Columbia, Gateway Supply Company has grown to 12 locations in 9 cities throughout the state of South Carolina, employing 125 people.

Our vision is first to continue to provide our existing customers with customer service superior to any other supply house. We do this through continuous inventory availability and the vast product knowledge of our staff.
Second, we seek to expand our customer base by exposing our products, service and knowledge to as many potential customers as possible.
